A preliminary study on the future development of aviation security services in the intelligent environment

It has been more than ten years since the opening of the market outsourcing of aviation security service, and the security service has always remained in the traditional service mode based on manual prevention. In the past practice, this service mode has played a certain positive role in the safe operation of airports. However, in today's rapid and high-quality development of the civil aviation industry, especially since the comprehensive promotion of the construction of "four-feature airports", the problem of the mismatch has become increasingly prominent between the existing traditional security services and the development needs of the airports.

The shortcomings of the current traditional security service are mainly reflected in the following aspects in the civil aviation industry:

1. Large investment in security (large investment in manpower, increasing labor cost year by year);

2. Low efficiency of security management;

3. Low security and protection capability;

4. Low response capability to security emergencies.

To make up for the abovementioned shortcomings of the security services, first of all, we should start from the aspect of intelligence, use the Internet, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT) and other technical means to establish an intelligent prevention system that can perceive, analyze and deal with. For example, with the help of the artificial intelligence technology to achieve human-machine collaborative service mode, that is, robots assume part of the security and protection functions, so as to relieve the pressure from large human input and increasing labor costs, while reduce hidden dangers caused by the security services due to human factors or bad environment/weather, and also enhance the on-site security capability.

Through its establishment, an intelligent security management system platform can identify people, vehicles, objects and suspicious events, make a comprehensive analysis of the basic data, and conclude a final judgment for the implementation of disposal by relying on the Internet, big data, and IoT technologies; At the same time, SEMS management, risk management tools and emergency management will be incorporated into the system platform so as to promote the institutionalization and standardization of security service management and improve the security service management efficiency.

In addition, it is necessary to further perfect the emergency response system, improve the practicality of the emergency plans, increase the hours of practical training courses for the security personnel's emergency drills, and fully implement the comment and assessment system of drills, and improve the security personnel's emergency handling ability.

In the intelligent environment, the development of aviation security has a broad space, particularly in the use of new technology. It is necessary to constantly explore in practice based on fully understanding the spirit of the civil aviation development plan and in combination with our own characteristics of and needs for the practical aviation security services, how to change ideas, improve the fitness of security staff with new technology and new equipment, and gain practical effect in practice by virtue of new technology and new equipment.
